Thank you for sharing! And yes.. being proactive is the only way… letting life rape you is not the best way of utilizing your time and energy. We hang on this dying relationship, fearing the outcome, when we could be using that time to heal and prepare for the next adventure!

Nothing makes you feel more helpless than watching someone you love fall out of love with you. I think it’s not that people don’t see the signs it’s that they choose to ignore them! Akin to hiding overdue bills a drawer; if I don’t look at them, they don’t exist. But the bill always comes due at some point!
Your advice to speak-up, let go of what doesn’t want to be held, and move on is perfect! Thanks for another great post!

Thank you for reading (and sharing).. and yes.. watching someone fall out of love of you is the saddest, scariest, most suffocating feeling ever.. but ignoring the situation doesn’t make it go away *and believe me, I’ve tried to ignore those bills. And paying the late fees is the crappiest part!

Total denial and running away from all these issues ended my relationship, if I had read this a week ago maybe I would have still been in a relationship. But as it were, this is totally true… unfortunately.

I’ve always wondered if a person who is about to be dumped can rally and reverse the process. Once you’re on the chopping block, there’s no governor’s phone call to pardon you, is there? It seems that when a person’s mind is made up that it would be difficult to change it. Then again, if the outfit is sexy enough…
